Crash involving a semi kills Argonia woman

SUMNER COUNTY, Kansas -- An Argonia woman was killed Wednesday afternoon when her car hit a semi head-on.

It happened on Highway 160 about a mile east of Argonia. 

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Linda Haskin was headed westbound when her vehicle crossed the center line and hit a semi.

Her car went into a ditch and rolled on its top. Haskin died at the scene.

Two passengers in the car, Samantha Haskin, 21 and Keegan Barkley 3 months, were also hurt.

Samantha was flown to a Wichita hospital while the baby was taken to the Sumner County hospital for treatment. 

The driver of the semi, a man from Valley Center, wasn't hurt. 

Troopers are still investigating.
