WICHITA, Kansas -- Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County is teaming up with the Wichita Police Department to increase its reward for tips on cold case homicides.
This week's case they're focusing on is 39-year-old Thoung Phan.
Phan was shot and killed back on May 28, 2011 outside of the Bai Wei restaurant in the 1700 block of South Rock Road.
Witnesses say they seen an unknown armed man chase Phan from the parking lot.
Phan was found shot in the street.
He was taken by ambulance to Wesley Medical Center.
A tip on the crime that leads to an arrest will receive $2,000, twice the normal Crime Stoppers reward on such cases.
