WICHITA (FoxKansas.com) -- It has been almost two years since George Strait last appeared in Wichita. The country music star is slated to return to Kansas early next year during a performance at the Intrust Bank Arena that will also feature Martina McBride.
The artist announced in a press release that his tour will play in Wichita on Feb. 18, 2012, a performance that will no doubt feature his biggest hits as well as songs from his current album, "Here For a Good Time."
It was not immediately clear when tickets will go on sale, but the last time Strait appeared in Wichita -- on Feb. 19, 2010 -- he packed the arena with 15,000 fans. The sell out performance included singers Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack.
