TOPEKA, Kansas -- The Kansas Highway Patrol had 235 troopers on duty throughout the day Thursday.
Troopers worked 106 non-injury accidents and 15 injury accidents with no reported fatalities.
KHP officers also rendered more than 1,400 motorist-assist related service calls, including slide-offs, tows, abandoned vehicles, stranded motorists and other calls.
In all, KHP dispatchers reported approximately 1,700 calls for service.
