WICHITA (FoxKansas.com) -- Actress Kirstie Alley has a warning for would-be thieves who have apparently been targeting her Wichita home by burglarizing it over the past several days.
"The house is now locked and loaded," she said in a written statement to KWCH-TV. "The perp will get a big surprise if he tries it again."
Word of the break-ins at Alley's home came from the actress herself when she tweeted to her followers over the weekend that burglars had struck at her home in the College Hill area three times over three days. The star has close to 954,000 followers on the social networking site.
"Dear persons who have broken into Wichita House 4 the 3rd time... Next time gonna B met with a big dog and an even bigger shotgun..warned."
Police said no report has been filed with their department about the alleged break-ins. It was not clear when the robberies occurred or what was taken. Neighbors told KWCH-TV that they have not seen any suspicious activity in the area.
Alley, 60, has a home in the Hollywood Hills but also maintains a residence in her native state.
