KINGMAN COUNTY, Kansas -- A 51-year-old Kingman County man is dead after a farming accident.
It happened around 8:55 a.m. Tuesday in 7000 block of SW 10th Avenue.
Emergency crews say 51-year-old Orrin Westerman was working on a Dodge truck with a bale bed when he somehow became trapped in the mechanics.
Family members were present at the time of the accident and called 911.
Emergency crews arrived and began treating Westerman for head trauma.
He died at the scene.
