WICHITA, Kansas -- Wichita police are investigating an aggravated robbery in the 2500 block of West 31st Street around midnight..
The victim told police he heard a knock on his door, and the person told him that his car had been broken into.
The victim opened the door, and the suspect rushed through with a knife.
Police say the suspect tied up the victim and proceeded to take his property including cash and credit cars.
After the suspect left, the victim started yelling for about an hour until a passerby heard him and was able to call 911.
The victim was not injured.
Police are looking for an Asian male, 30 to 40 years old, weighing 130 pounds with a back shirt and mask and blue jeans.
"We are concerned obviously about the methodology of tieing up this victim, and we are interested if anyone has any information, they can call 911 or call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111," said Lt. Doug Nolte, Wichita Police Department.
