LANE COUNTY, Kan. -- A 65-year-old Scott City man was seriously injured after a Friday morning rollover accident in Lane County on K-4 at milepost 17, westbound.
The wreck happened around 9:30 a.m. when Ronald Riner was heading westbound on K-4 in a truck pulling a trailer.
Riner drove into a north ditch and over-corrected, sending the truck into a slide and causing it to tip over.
The load in the trailer then shifted, and caused the truck to roll onto its top.
Riner was taken to the Lane County Hospital with critical injuries and later flown to St. Anthony's in Hays.
One vehicle was involved in the wreck and no one else was injured.
