WICHITA, Kansas -- Wichita police are still investigating a kidnapping.

It occurred Sunday morning at 8 a.m. at the Royal Lodge Hotel and was reported to Wichita police Monday night.

Three victims, two 22-year-old women and a 22-year-old man, say they were kidnapped by a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old black man.  Both are known to the victims.

They were taken to Salida, Colorado in a white truck.

The victims were able to get away from both suspects by stealing the pickup.

A Fremont County sheriff's officer found the victims after they ran out of gas.

They told the sheriff's officer about the kidnapping which led to an arrest.

"Colorado State Patrol arrested the 30-year-old male in relation to the kidnapping and is holding him at this time," said Lt. Joe Schroeder, Wichita Police Department.

Police are still searching for the 23-year-old man.

They say the kidnapping may have started as the result of a domestic dispute in Wichita.
