WICHITA, Kansas -- WSU student athletes will soon have access to iPads, thanks to a generous grant from an anonymous donor.
The iPads will come loaded with study-related apps to help students who are dividing their time between school work and athletics.
"Our 250 student athletes recorded a grade point average (GPA) for 2011-2012 that was approxamately a 3.1," said Eric Sexson, WSU's Athletic Director. "Our goal has been to achieve a 3.20 or better GPA, and we believe the iPad can help."
The students will return the tablet computers back to the school at the end of the school year.
