WICHITA, Kansas -- Wichita City Council members voted 6-0 on a proposal that would ease some restrictions placed on Old Town businesses that have outdoor cafe areas.
The new rules will allow advertising on umbrellas at those locations, but would restrict it to products or services sold at the business. It would allow mulit-colored umbrellas but would limit the types of colors allowed.
The rules also restrict the type of patio furniture and the colors allowed.
