WICHITA, Kansas -- A 41-year-old Wichita man went before a judge Wednesday afternoon to be formally charged with murder.
Anson Bernhardt is accused of killing his girlfriend Amber Kostner.
The 38-year-old woman's body was found in a ditch near Campus High School over the weekend.
Bernhardt was charged with first-degree murder.
His bond is set at $250,000.
His next court appearance will be October 7.
