WICHITA, Kan. -- Two kids were injured when the car they were riding in crashed into a parked car early Sunday morning.
Police say they got a call about a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, heading northbound on Gold St. where it crashed into a parked car around midnight Sunday.
The driver is a 26-year-old man, and had a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old in the car with him.
The 4-year-old suffered a skull fracture, and the 2-year-old had minor injuries.
Both were taken to St. Francis for treatment.
Police are investigating if alcohol played a factor in the wreck.
"The 26-year-old driver was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and was booked for aggravated child endangerment, aggravated battery, DUI and other traffic charges," said Wichita Police Sgt. Scott Brunow.
