WICHITA, Kansas -- The Wichita City Council on Tuesday approved to tear down a duplex near the old Barriers building at Douglas and Oliver.
Homeowners in the area had protested the effort because a restaurant and bar is slated to go in the area.
Last month, the District Advisory Board also voted to tear down the duplex.
No word on when construction will begin on the restaurant.
