Clues Sought in North Wichita Attack
WICHITA (FoxKansas.com) -- Police were searching for clues Monday after a middle-aged man was found in a north side street last night with critical injuries.
Witnesses called police to the 1700 block of N. Piatt shortly after 11 pm Sunday after seeing the 50-year-old man in the street. Rescue workers said the man appeared to have been beaten and may have been struck by a vehicle during the incident.
The man was rushed for treatment to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. No arrests have been made. The man's identity was pending.
