Wichita, Kansas (KSN) -- Residents met Friday evening to ask more questions about a new sports bar that could be moving into their College Hill neighborhood.
The new restaurant and bar would go into the old Barrier's Building on Douglas and Oliver. The bar would also build a large parking lot that nearby residents oppose. They're also concerned about the bar's proximity to two schools, College Hill Elementary and Robinson Middle School.
The Wichita District Advisory Board voted earlier this month to allow the parking lot to be built. Because the residents appealed the issue, it will go to the Wichita City Council for a vote in January.
