WICHITA, Kansas -- Some took advantage of this Valentine's Day to take their relationships to the next level.

It wasn't a quick trip down the aisle for the new Mr. and Mrs. Dolata.

This couple has been dating for 13 years and engaged for 11.

"It's awesome to see them finally get married."

In love, but not in a rush.

"And I will always keep opening doors for you. Forever and always."

Finally making it official, and their friends and family happy.

"It's not been a rocky relationship, they've had a very smooth, wonderful relationship. They deserve to be together so I'm glad it's finally official," says a friend of the couple, Denise Hogan.

Denise introduced the happy couple over a decade ago.

"People will say where you going? I'm going with my two best friends, it's not just my best, it's my two best so getting to hang out with both my best friends has been awesome," says Denise.

She says she's very happy to be at this Valentine's Day wedding.

"He proposed to me on Valentines Day so we always knew we'd get married again on Valentines 11 years ago," says newlywed Sandi Dolata.

The Justice of the Peace offering words of advice, one that Chris Dolata already knows.

"The woman's always right!"

Vows said, rings exchanged.

This couple is looking to their future.

"Just being together. Living life. Having grand babies," says a happy Sandi.

The Dolata's were one of several couples getting married at the Sedgwick County Courthouse today.
