Jeffrey Shawn Casey, 32, of Norman, Oklahoma, formerly of Salina, was sentenced today to 312 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections by Judge Jerome Hellmer in Saline County District Court.

A jury convicted Casey in August of one count of rape, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of attempted aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of attempted rape and one count of aggravated sexual battery.

The crimes occurred in August 2005 in Salina.

Casey was living in Oklahoma at the time of his arrest in August 2010.
