Fund set up for critically injured Tabor player

HILLSBORO, Kansas -- A football player at Tabor College remains in critical but stable condition after suffering injuries at weekend party in McPherson.

Police found 26-year-old Brandon Brown, of Sacramento, California, lying near a road unresponsive early Sunday while responding to a report of loud music.

Brown was taken to a McPherson hospital and then airlifted to Wichita.

A relief fund has been established with Emprise Bank in Hillsboro.
