WICHITA, Kansas -- Wichita police say a man beat and cut his girlfriend over missing property.
It happened in the 500 block of North Topeka around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say the 45-year-old woman was visiting her boyfriend at a friend's house.
The boyfriend became upset and began to hit and kick her over some property of his that she had.
She would not give it to him.
"He produced a knife and cut her which caused minor injuries. In the process of that battery and robbery, a second individual who was there, a 43-year-old male, intervened. He was hit and pushed down. A third victim, a 45-year-old male, tried to intervene and he was hit by suspect with his fist," said Lt. Doug Nolte, Wichita Police Department.
The suspect was still on the premises when officers arrived. They took him into custody and arrested him on number of charges.
