LYONS, Kansas -- A 55-year-old Lyons man was killed in accident Thursday evening on Highway 56.
It happened about two miles east of Lyons.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1997 Dodge driven by 55-year-old Luis Gonzales was heading west on Highway 56 when he crossed the line and struck another car head-on.
Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other truck, 65-year-old Jimmy Bound of Lyons, was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
