DERBY, Kan. -- A 47-year-old man is seriously hurt after his motorcycle collided with a car Saturday evening near Derby.
Authorities say the crash that happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 9500 block of E. 63rd St. S. left the man with an open skull fracture.
Police are asking people to avoid the area of 99th St. E. and 63rd St. S., both eastbound and westbound traffic.
The man was taken to Wesley hospital for treatment.
