OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma City Thunder will play a preseason game in Wichita this fall at INTRUST Bank Arena on Wednesday night, Oct. 24, against the Dallas Mavericks, the Thunder announced today.
Tickets for the game will go on sale Wednesday, May 23 at Intrustbankarena.com and start as low as $12.
"It's a privilege to bring the first-ever Thunder preseason game to the Wichita area. We continue to appreciate the ever-growing fan base throughout Kansas. Fans continue to show their commitment through social media interaction, web visits and watching Thunder games on television. Wichita provides a tremendous amount of support for the team and we are thankful for the opportunity to showcase the Thunder experience on Oct. 24," said Brian Byrnes, Thunder Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
The Thunder will announce its entire 2012 preseason schedule at a later date.
