WICHITA, Kansas -- The Wichita City Council has approved plans for a new development that includes a Sam's Club.
Residents of the area of 29th and Maize have been fighting the development citing noise and traffic concerns.
Developers say the plan to add fencing and improve the landscaping at the site.
The council voted 6-1 to approve the project.
