WICHITA, Kansas -- Two men robbed a home in southwest Wichita, one armed with an AK-47 assault rifle.
Police say that the other man had a handgun and they entered the home in the 4500 block of South Elizabeth just after 3 a.m. Friday.
The victims told officials the two suspects searched the house for a short amount of time before leaving in a gold or silver car.
Officers coming to the scene spotted the vehicle and attempted to pull it over.
The two suspects led police on a short chase before finally being stopped.
Two men, ages 24 and 22, were arrested.
Officials say they believe it was gang related because the victim and at least one of the suspects are members of a gang.
No one was injured at the house or during the pursuit and it appears nothing was taken from the home.
