Recap: Princeton vs. Yale

Princeton, NJ (Sports Network) - Ian Hummer scored 18 points as the Princeton Tigers downed the Yale Bulldogs 64-57 in an Ivy League rumble at Jadwin Gym.

T.J. Bray added 10 points for Princeton (17-11, 8-4 Ivy League) which has won six of its last seven.

Greg Mangano had a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds to pace Yale (19-8, 9-4) which was eliminated from contention for the Ivy League Title with the loss. Austin Morgan added 13 points and Reggie Willhite and Jeremiah Kreisberg each had 10 while the former finished with 14 rebounds.

Princeton jumped out to a 37-28 lead at the half by shooting 51.7 percent from the floor while holding Yale to just 36.0 percent. The Bulldogs kept the game within striking distance by hitting 4-of-5 attempts from three point range.

The Tigers weren't able to stretch their lead very much in the second half as they shot at an even 40.0 percent but a 10-for-13 effort from the free throw line allowed them to hold off the Bulldogs.

Princeton outscored Yale 34-26 on points in the paint and collected 10 steals.
