Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Vancouver Whitecaps FC added defender Brad Rusin on Friday from Danish side Koge.
Rusin has spent the past 18 months in the Danish Superliga, appearing in 38 matches and scoring three goals in his time in Europe.
The 26-year-old will reunite with Vancouver head coach Martin Rennie, who served as coach of the Carolina RailHawks in the NASL during Rusin's two seasons with the team, where he featured in 54 games.
"I'm looking forward to linking up with Martin Rennie again and be a part of something special in Vancouver," Rusin said in a statement. "I have had the opportunity to visit Vancouver when I was a member of the RailHawks and always enjoyed the atmosphere and passionate fans during those matches."
