Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Tyler Zeller has been cleared to return to action on Friday, just over a week since suffering a broken cheekbone and concussion.

The 22-year-old rookie took a blow to the face late in a Nov. 5 game against the Clippers and has not played since. He will have to be fitted with a protective mask until the fracture has healed completely.

In addition, the Cavs announced that forward Luke Harangody underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his right knee at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health. The Notre Dame product is expected to miss the next 6 weeks.

The third-year pro averaged 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 21 games for Cleveland last season, but has yet to play this year thanks to persistent soreness and swelling in the affected knee.
